And here's the last piece of Razz!art you'll be seeing until sometime in August.

Authors need to be careful about the wording of their metaphors. "Blue orbs, raven hair, milk-white skin and rose-petal lips" don't bring to mind an image of some sexy woman. Unless you think this is sexy. :D

I rather like Metaphor.

Noooo...! You don't want to grow up to be Christopher Paolini! o.o Metaphors aren't necessarily bad, you just have to use them sparingly and be careful with how you word them.

I bet you're not too lazy to think of anything else. :) Send your writing through a beta reader or two and set a piece aside for a month. When you come back to it, you'll be able to make it much nicer (it's kind of scary how much these two things will improve your final product; I love my editors to death, they make me look like I can actually write :D).

Thank you! ^_^ Originally, I had this idea that I wanted to make it all realistic, but I have since come to the conclusion that I am a cartoonist and quite pleased to be so, so I went with what I knew. :D
